　　A house painter,also a dreamer,who is he?He is certainly the lovable Mr.Popper.Mr.Popper dreams of being an intrepid Antarctic explorer,living life among the penguins along side his hero,Admiral Drake.So he is shocked one day when the Admiral responds to his fan letter by sending him apackage containing a real,live penguin!Soon,this penguin is joined by another;and before long Mr.Popper has an ice rink in the basement and penguins living in his house.With hardly enough money to feed his family,and an ever-increasing bill for raw fish and canned shrimp,what can the wonderfully imaginative Mr.Popper do but train his penguins and take theshow on the road!By the end,he made his dream come true!He became famous andwent to the South Pole with Admiral Drake.

　　My favorite characters are Nelson and Columbus.They were certainly cute.And they sparred often.When they were fighting,in spite of every penguin wanted Columbus won,but Nelson was still determined to win.That made them verydroll.When they were fighting,they were always a pair.

　　My favorite part of the story was when Nelson and Columbus fight.They used theirglossy flippers to vigorously sock opponent.I wanted Nelson won,because myname’s first letter was“n”,and so were Nelson.But penguins wanted Columbuswon.In fact,penguins won！Columbus won!All the other penguins,in order to make Columbuswon,“Ork”when Nelson was absent-minded.Eventually,Columbus won!I felt very upset.

　　This book tells us that if you had a dream,do it.l like this book because it supports me tomake my dream come true.lt also tells me,no pains no gains.So if l want tomake my dream come true,l should get pains a lot.l fell guiltily after l read this book because before reading the book,l don’t have any dreams.Now,lknow:l should have dreams!And make it come ture!
